Here at the schoolhouse, we’ve always looked forward to May, when Anne’s heritage rose garden bursts forth with fragrant, multi-hued blossoms. Each year, it gets more spectacular, and with the winter rains, we anticipate a glorious display all month long. Plus, with the warm weather, the vines will be fully in bloom.
The gazebo garden will be open on weekends throughout the merry month of May. Stop and smell the roses, and the fragrant grape blossoms, too!
Sippers Club Members: you and a friend are invited to attend one of our Spring Sipping Sessions, Saturday & Sunday, May 6 & May 7, between 1 – 5pm in the gazebo garden. Come enjoy the wines in the May Sippers Club package paired with a tasty appetizer menu, along with music.

We’ll be celebrating Mother’s Day weekend with Cowboy Toffee and a rose for each Mom. Take photos in the gazebo garden and post them on our Facebook page! If we choose yours, you could win a bottle of Anne’s favorite, Chardonnay!
We’ll close out May with our bi-annual Cellar Alumni Sale over Memorial Day weekend, an exclusive library tasting and sale for our Sippers Club members.
Whatever you do, don’t forgot to stop and smell the roses, and remember your Mom on Mother’s Day. And raise a glass of Chardonnay to our dear Anne.

May 14: Mothers Day. Bring Mom to the schoolhouse for a stroll in the garden, a taste of Cowboy Toffee and a sip of our Springtime-perfect Chardonnay. Bonus! Take Mom’s photo in the garden, or take a fun selfie and post it on our Facebook page! You could win a bottle of wine if your photo is chosen the winner.
May 20: Date Night, 7—10pm, a benefit for Los Gatos Schools’ mental health and counseling programs presented by the Los Gatos Lions Club. Wine, food, music and more. www.lglions.org/events
May 20: Blessing of the Hot Rods, 10-3pm, Christ Child Catholic Church, Summit Rd. Bring a gently used coat for their annual coat drive.
