129th Birthday Party and July 4th Celebration at the Schoolhouse
It’s time to wish a Happy 129th Birthday to the Schoolhouse! It was dedicated on July 4th, 1890. We’re delighted to welcome you to the tasting room as we celebrate Independence Day, the official birthday of America, which makes this country officially 243 years old. That’s a lot of candles!
We won’t be lighting any candles, roman or otherwise, nor will we be setting off fireworks, but we are featuring a Best of 25 Years Tasting, highlighting some of the very best wines Dave has ever made over the 25-year history of Burrell School Vineyards & Winery. It’s such a great honor to share these rare treasures from the cellar with you on such a momentous occasion.
Tasting Room hours on Thursday, July 4th, will be 11am – 5pm. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day with us. Flag raising at 2pm. Don’t miss it! Dave promises to play the bugle.
