We understand the ongoing concerns over the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) as we “re-open” for wine tasting. Burrell School Vineyards wants to share the steps we are taking to keep our establishment clean and safe for staff and customers. Please bear with us as we prepare to open for outside patio seating on Saturday June 13. We will continue to review and update our policy as we receive updates and direction from the county of Santa Cruz.
We regularly follow strict procedures when sanitizing work surfaces and shared spaces. High contact areas will be cleaned after use of every guest. Staff have received additional training on how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the proper way to wash and sanitize.
Hand sanitizer is available for staff and guests in multiple locations. We are using food safe, hospital grade sanitizers throughout the facility.
All staff are currently required to wear masks for service. Customers are also currently required to wear masks when entering and exiting while not seated at their designated table.
Per current mandates for Santa Cruz County, tasting rooms will be permitted to seat a maximum of 6 guests, by reservation, all from the same household/quarantine unit. Guests at tables are for on-premise consumption of wine, OUTSIDE ONLY. Seating will be limited, as is necessary, to allow for ample social distancing. No bar or indoor seating is currently permitted. Tasting Room is Closed.
We have posted all required information for guests at our front entrance, as well as inside our facility for review.
Please respect the posted guidelines as to designated areas with social distance markers. Please do not seat yourself. Please wait for one of the Burrell School staff members to guide you to your table.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during these strange times.
