2010 Estate Chardonnay “Teacher’s Pet”
This is a rich, luscious chardonnay with aromas of honeysuckle, lemon and peaches. On the palate, it is bright, with tropical notes of guava and pineapple. The citrusy finish lingers with an interesting caramel note. Enjoy now but be sure to set aside some bottles for aging at least a year or more.

2010 Old School Cabernet Sauvignon
75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Barrel aged in American oak barrels, 30% new
A big nose of currant and spice is followed by lush mid-palate flavors of red fruits. Mouth-feel is round and soft. Smooth tannins and bright fruit are indicators of a wine ready to enjoy now. A staff favorite, Old School Cabernet is the wine to accompany pasta, grilled steak, spicy chile, or just some fruit and cheese. Don’t forget chocolate!

2009 Estate Merlot “Honor Roll”
Rich, dense and nearly black in color, this is a wine with weight. Aromas of black current and cherry combine with smoky wood on the nose. You’ll enjoy flavors of dark
chocolate, cherries, and a hint of blackberry. The impressive finish is long and generous—espresso, cinnamon and berries. Balanced tannins and acid bode well for aging.
Only 312 cases produced. price per case: $192 price per magnum: $36
2009 Cabernet Sauvignon “Dean’s List”
Dave’s blend for the Cabernet is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. The nose is redolent with currants, blackberries and cassis with a nice hint of toasty caramel. On the palate, there is a nice burst of cherry accompanied by caramel, licorice and notes of tar and leather. The finish offers up a nice herbal component with a hit of pepper. This is a nicely balanced wine with plenty of acidity and supple tannin. A keeper for the cellar.
