Were you among the fortunate who flocked to Burrell School this past weekend to take advantage of the fabulous weather on Saturday, and to take home some great Pinot?
If not, here are some shots of the fun and frolic you missed! Our tasting room staff donned bunny ears and tails and happily poured the current lineup and handed out Easter basket goodies.
Don’t worry – there’s always something happening at the old red schoolhouse on Summit Road. That’s why we say. “School was never this much fun!”
Come on by this coming weekend, April 10 and 11, to taste two of the most amazing wines Dave has yet made: the 2006 PTA Pinot Noir and the 2006 Magna Cum Laude Merlot – aged an extra 6 months on new French oak, this baby is pure magic in the mouth. If you think Merlot can’t be big, smooth and elegant, give this wine a swirl and a whirl and you’ll be sold!
The tasting room is open Thursday thru Sunday from 11 til 5pm. Don’t miss Anne’s wonderful flowers, colorfully spilling out of barrel planters all around the property. And the vineyard is beautiful in its new coat of bright spring green!
