DESCRIPTION:Enjoy three days in the Santa Cruz Mountains by participating in Pinot Paradise! This three day event invites you to come learn\, explore and taste the Pinot Noirs produced from our legendary winemakers. Read the event summary below\, then scroll to the bottom of the page to buy tickets! \nDay 1- Friday\, April 11th\nWine Technical Session: “A Return to Paradise; Wine Making in a Mountain Terroir” \nLearn and discover! This is a day long forum from 1pm – 4pm of continuing wine education for consumers and winemakers. The forum is followed by a VIP Wine Reception from 4:30pm – 6:00pm. \nThe Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association (SCMWA) presents the 10th Annual Pinot Paradise Technical Session\, “A Return to Paradise; Winemaking in a Mountain Terroir.”  SCMWA is proud to present two esteemed speakers:  David Hirsch\, founder and owner of the renowned Hirsch Vineyards\, and Dr. Jean Jacques Lambert\, Associate Research Soil Scientist\, University of California\, Davis.  Both speakers are passionate in their approach to understanding wine produced from the vineyard\, and the importance of the vineyard site.  Following this session a panel of Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir producers will present a tasting of their wines while telling the story of the fruit and its journey to the glass.  The session will also feature a local sommelier to discuss the consumer point of view and to share some of the skills of a professional wine taster. \nJoin us for this unforgettable event as we take you on this magical journey from vine to glass\, and showcase an array of Pinot Noirs from the oldest mountain American Viticulture Area (AVA) in the United States. \nTicket price is $65 and includes VIP Wine Reception. \nDay 2- Saturday\, April 12th\nPathway to Pinot Paradise \nCome sip\, sample and enjoy a day meandering your way through the many Pinot Noir producers of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Taste through barrel samples\, enjoy the experience of meeting our winemakers and participate in personal tours of the vineyards. Tickets can be purchased online or at any participating winery. \nPlease click here for Pathway to Pinot Paradise Winery Participants. \nTicket price is $25. \nDay 3- Sunday\, April 13th\nPinot Noir Grand Cruz Tasting  \nPinot Paradise presents the Grand Cruz Pinot Noir and Food Tasting at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. CA. Doors open from 12pm to 2pm for VIP\, Trade and Media and 2pm to 5pm for the general public. Taste Pinot Noirs from over 40 winemakers of the Santa Cruz Mountains paired with delectable food from local gourmet restaurants. \nTicket Prices: VIP Grand Tasting $100\, from 12pm- 5pm\nGeneral Admission Grand Tasting $85\, from 2pm- 5pm
