Chardonnay
With the warmer weather, the vineyards are really starting to move along towards ripeness. It’s been a slow process this year and could end up being on par with last year’s long, extended hangtime.
According to Winemaker Dave, “Pinot Noir is just getting through verasion and looks to be a great set. Estimated picking to start late September…but who really knows with the heat one day and fog the next! Chardonnay is really looking good for mid-October. All else on the estate, Merlot and Cab Franc, enjoyed a very nice set and the berries are just starting to show a little color. Late October seems about right to expect picking to begin on those. Come and pay us a visit and see for yourself!”
You can also witness the newly grafted Cabernet Sauvignon vines which used to be Petit Verdot. They started their lives as Chardonnay. You could say they’ve been through a few chchchchanges!
Library Reserve Club 
It’s almost September, which means a new set of Library Reserve Club wines will be released!
This semester’s wines will be a spectacular set of 2012’s:
These wines have aged very nicely and we are excited to share them with you.
If you are part of the LRC, orders will process on Monday, August 26th.
Just $125 for the 4-bottle set plus applicable sales tax and shipping.
