February is here and romance is in the air and in the bottle here at everyone’s favorite red schoolhouse in the mountains. Romance your special Valentine with a bottle of Burrell School’s just-released 2009 Cabernet Franc or the magnificent 2010 Merlot. February 15th and 16th, Wine Lovers Weekend with The Summit Wineries. Here at the school we’ll have romantic live music and tastes of Love Bites amazingly boozey fruit cake morsels to accompany our very romantic red wines.
February 17th, Presidents’ Day. Our tasting room is open from 11 to 5pm.

Drum roll, please—Burrell School Vineyards is celebrating our 20th anniversary in the wine business this year. We received our federal bond on October 6th, 1994. And, after 20 years of growing, harvesting, wine making, bottling, tasting, selling and meeting the best people in the world, we’re still having fun.
We’ll be sharing history lessons throughout the year and will have some very special events scheduled for October.
