Tasting Notes
Our 2021 “Extra Credit” Cabernet Franc comes from our Pichon Vineyard, located at the base of Mount Umunhum nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The nose offers layers of black cherry and peppery herbs along with subtle notes of cedar from 18 months in French oak. The palate is fruit-forward and energetic, with flavors of cherry, plum and black pepper, with a long, spicy finish. Pair with aged Manchego, grilled lamb or lentil and mushroom stew. Best now through 2034.
