Tasting Notes
Our “Old School” Cabernet Sauvignon features a complimentary blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot. A nose of black currant and black cherry are layered with hints of cedar. The palate is bright but complex with hints of plum and blackberry with soft tannins and well-integrated French oak from 24 months of aging. The finish is long and silky with a soft overall balance not found in most Cabernet Sauvignons. Pair with braised short ribs, grilled portobello mushrooms or an aged cheddar. Best now through 2037.
