Welcome to 2015, a brand new year! Hope you all had great holidays, and that Burrell School wines helped make them even more special! This 2005 Estate Reserve Principal’s Choice Pinot Noir is drinking beautifullly – uncork some if you’ve got any in your stash. At ten years old, it’s brilliant!
We wish you all a very happy, healthy, productive New Year: one in which you expand your horizons, explore new roads and taste new and delicious wines! We have some in store for you and we can’t wait to roll them out.
Our New Year’s resolution is to continue to grow and ripen our Estate grapes to perfection, the first step in making great wine. And we start with winter pruning, now underway.
Pruning is an art, as a path is set for this year’s crop, as well as guiding the vines for vintage 2016 and beyond. Kudos to Mark and the crew for their pruning skills!
