The Pinot Noir is ripe and ready to be picked and the Chardonnay looks to be right behind. The vineyard couldn’t look any happier.
Come up and see for yourself while tasting our Estate grown wines! We are open from 12-5 on Saturdays and Sundays with no reservation required. Our veranda overlooking the Santa Cruz mountains makes for a safe and peaceful environment to taste some wine.

2020 “Recess” Rose– A nose of rose petals and deep middle of fresh raspberry. A really smooth finish with great acidity to enjoy now and through the warm summer months ahead. Everyone loves Recess!
2019 “Teacher’s Pet” Chardonnay– This dry, medium bodied wine has moderate acidity. Its flavors range from apple and lemon to pineapple, with notes of vanilla.
2020 “Field Trip” Chardonnay– This stainless steel chardonnay has Crisp fruit flavors of lemon and grapefruit with subtle notes of white flowers followed by bright acidity. A perfect summer wine!
2010 Salutatorian- Effusive in flavor with small berries and a hint of raspberry. There are scents of cedar and almond on mid-palate with a touch of strawberry. Just showing its best, this wine will be enjoyable through 2025.
2016 “Spring Break” Syrah- Deep, opaque, almost black color followed by aromas of dark loganberries, cassis and licorice.

2012 “PTA” Pinot Noir- Our “Pinot Totally Awesome” has scents of raspberries and blackberries with spice notes of anise and coriander. 24 months in 100% new French oak
2018 “Principal’s Choice” Pinot Noir- Very classy, like burgundy velvet, soft on the palate with notes of vanilla and blackberry.
Our Sippers and Library Reserve Club members are invited to participate in a special Library Reserve tasting on Monday, September 6th, Labor Day.
Dave will be sharing the September Library Reserve Club wines in the gazebo garden, paired with tasty treats and music.
No RSVP or reservation required. Please plan to attend anytime between 1-5pm. You are welcome to bring a picnic!

Hood Chatham on September 4th
Hood Chatham is an accomplished jazz guitarist who has played in the Santa Cruz area with the Minor Thirds Jazz Trio, the Cold Porters Jazz Trio, and Jazz By Three. He his currently performing solo guitar at various Santa Cruz Mountain wineries and other local venues. He studied jazz guitar with Dale Brunig, Jimmy Bruno, and locally with Brian Fitzgerald. Major influences on his style include Jim Hall, Bill Evans, Thelonius Monk, among many others.
BRIAN FITZGERALD on September 6th, 11th &18th
Brian Fitzgerald (7- and 6-string guitars) is an active member of the Bay Area music scene. An accomplished jazz guitarist and teacher, he draws from a deep musical background and education, covering a wide range of influences. He has toured and performed extensively as both a sideman and band leader. In addition to a wealth of studio and recording experience, he is well versed in both jazz and classical theory and composition, and has had years of experience writing and arranging for big bands, R&B groups, and jazz ensembles.
