Tasting Notes
Our “Sweethearts” blended with 50% Cab Franc and 50% Merlot is a Santa Cruz Mountains staple. A nose of red currant and plum is lifted by the region’s cool-climate freshness. The palate is fruit forward and vibrant, with hints of black cherry and violet with smooth tannins from its 18 months in French oak. A long and spicy finish brings its balance and structure together. Pair with Pork tenderloin in a cherry reduction, spicy shrimp with red pepper or an aged gouda. Best now through 2035.
