Featured Artist – Anastasiya Bachmanova

Based in Santa Cruz, California, artist Anastasiya Bachmanova paints the ocean and natural world in a style rooted in realism, utilizing contemporary elements such as brilliant colors and playful brushstrokes. Since 2014, Ana has worked as a professional artist, capturing inspiration from her beach and outdoor lifestyle.

The goal is simple: to help you slow down and notice the magic that is already around you, and, having spent nearly two decades immersed in the beauty of California’s Monterey Bay Area, Ana is perfectly suited for the task.

Ana’s work strives to bring the feeling of being in nature into your everyday life, pieces that evoke the feeling of warm sunshine on your skin, the sight of an elegant pelican swooping over the sea, of playful waves lapping on an empty beach. The bright colors and dreamlike details are meantto inspire joy while coaxing your own memories, experiences, and imagination to the surface.

Nature-themed art has the power to keep our connection to the environment present in our everyday lives.
