There’s no better way to explore the paradise of Pinot that is the Santa Cruz Mountains than Pinot Pathways: a self-guided tour of the area’s premier Pinot producers on Saturday March 27.
A self guided tour and tasting of Pinot Noir takes place from 11 til 5pm at over 20 Santa Cruz Mountain wineries. The cost is just $25 and tickets may be purchased at Burrell School or from scmwa.com. This is a great way to taste older vintages as well as future ones still in barrel. Grab a map off the scmwa website and start planning your route!
Here at Burrell School you’ll be treated to a vertical of estate Pinot Noir, beginning with the newly released 2006, vintage, followed by the 2007 and a barrel sample of the 2008 vintage.
Also, don’t miss Sam’s Chowder Mobile who’ll be here at the winery on Saturday. Chow down on some great seafood, guaranteed to partner with Pinot!
