Adding the Yeast Bottling Cabernet
All the grapes are in and fermentation is proceeding well! The Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc and Merlot were picked at the end of October. These grapes have been crushed, are in the fermentors and the yeast has gotten everything bubbling. Punch down will be happening for the next week or so, then it’s pressing and barreling time.
We just completed bottling of 2023 Cab Franc and Merlot and 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon, so the barrels are empty and ready to fill with the 2025 vintages.

We invite our Sippers Club members to join us this Saturday, November 8th, from 12 to 5pm in the Gazebo Garden. We’ll be celebrating the 2025 Harvest and tasting the November wines: 2023 Chardonnay, 2022 Merlot and 2018 Valedictorian plus a special pre-release wine, the 2024 Rose of Pinot Noir.
Club members are welcome to bring up to 3 guests!
