Tasting Notes
Our 2022 “Extra Credit” Cabernet Franc is grown on the BSV estate. Often used as a blending grape, 100% Cab Franc from the Santa Cruz mountains is quite unique! The nose offers layers of black cherry and peppery herbs along with subtle notes of cedar from 18 months in French oak. The palate is fruit-forward and energetic, with flavors of cherry, plum and black pepper, with a long, spicy finish. Pair with aged Manchego, grilled lamb or lentil and mushroom stew. Best now through 2035.
