Description
Tasting Notes
Our “Honor Roll” Merlot grown exclusively in the Santa Cruz Mountains, is truly unique. The nose reveals hints of wild blackberry and fresh bay leaf with a slight minerality from its cool climate growing conditions. On the palate, bright fruit of black cherry and red plum are balanced with vibrant acidity and subtle cedar from 18 months in French oak. The finish is smooth and refined, with silky tannins and a lingering spice note. Pair with herb crusted lamb, duck with a cherry reduction or roasted root vegetables. Best now through 2035.
