On the heels of the wettest January in decades, comes February, packed with fun events for sports fans, romantics and history lovers.
We’re welcoming the very beneficial rain and enjoying the beautiful green cover crop on the vineyard floor, which is very helpful for erosion control. The buzz going around the region is that the vines might just rebound with an extra big crop this year, but, of course, that’s all a matter of timing. For now, we are just happy to refill reservoirs and ponds.
Speaking of refills, we’ve got just the wines you need to restock your wine cellar for the fast-approaching Super Bowl weekend! Football makes everyone thirsty!
Plus we’ve got “High School Sweethearts” and “Prom Night,” the perfect wines to properly celebrate Valentine’s Day, February 14. Don’t forget your sweetie! You’ve been reminded.
We’re open President’s Day, so come trade in some Washingtons and Lincolns for hearty fare like the newly released 2013 Pinot Noir and the righteous GSM (Get Some More!!) blend.
EVENTS
February 5 —Super Bowl 51: can you believe it’s here? Tasting room is open. Sports fans, come early and stock up on game day wines! May we suggest the 2012 Merlot? We can’t vouch for what other tasters will be streaming on their phones, however!
