Burrell School Vineyards Newsletter – September 3, 2022
Hello September and Hello Pinot! ~ Harvest has begun!
We started the harvest one day earlier than last year on September 1st. We have picked 5 tons of Pinot Noir. The drought has cut down the tonnage leading to more concentrated flavors.
Next up looks to be the Cabernet Sauvignon, maybe four more days. Than Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay with Merlot to follow.
Come up to the Winery and Vineyard and see for yourself.
Come visit us this weekend ~ We’re open on Monday, Labor Day.
We have some New Releases and Specials to share with you:
2020 Pinot Noir “Principal’s Choice” – Rich raspberry and hints of clove with soft tannins and a smooth finish. $35 per bottle.
